Unpacking

Our house is full of stuff now! Boxes are piled everywhere again, but it seems to be a little faster unpacking than packing. The truck arrived about 11:15 yesterday morning, and brought with it five hard working Tongans. They did a great job, working hard, and had us all unloaded by about 7:00 p.m. Then the truck went to Lisa's to unload the piano and the bunk beds, which are now hers.

Notice in the picture that the truck is parked on a steep slope. They had to haul everything up hill before they brought it in the house. We were very impressed, and the price turned out to be less than expected. Wow. If you look closely at the truck, you may be able to read on it that it is from Bismarck, ND. We found out that they didn't change trucks after all. The day they put it on the truck from our house, they locked it, and it came that way. That made unloading much easier because we didn't have to inventory as they took it off.

So, this morning we're working hard unpacking. The DirecTV guy is due also, but we're not waiting around for him. The garbage truck came driving by this morning and Bryce flagged him down. I'm sure he wouldn't have found us otherwise. The recycling truck hasn't found us yet. We may have to call on that one.

So, it's looking more and more like our house!
