Finally, the promised pictures. Here's our last day in Minot and the trip to Logan.
Here we are in our totally empty house. We're tired and dirty, but the house is clean.

the morning, we stopped to walk across the new pedestrian bridge and say goodbye to The Magic City. Goodbye Minot.

On the road, we stopped at several really great historical sites, including Fort Buford and the Confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone rivers, and Fort Union, all in Western North Dakota, and Pompey's Pillar near Billings Montana, where William Clark (Lewis and Clark) wrote his name. These were very interesting sites to visit, and ones that we'd always wanted to see, but had always been in too big a hurry to get down the road. Since we were in two vehicles, it was especially nice to make lots of stops for resting. We recommend these stops to anyone going that way.
