We did a lot of projects over Labor Day weekend. Part of the time was spent in the new bathroom downstairs. We installed the light fixture, the vanity and top with the basin, and Sara and I got the caulking done. My mom and dad talked us into hiring a plumber to put in the toilet and "trim."
Jerry, the plumber, came today and installed the toilet, faucet and drain in the basin, and the tub "trim." He did in a couple of hours what would have taken Bryce and I a whole day and a huge headache. Now Kathy and Doug - you can come and use this bathroom! Tomorrow we'll hang a shower curtain and some towel and toilet paper holders. You can be the first to shower in this tub! You may still have to sleep on an air mattress on the concrete floor though. The bedroom still has some work to do. And, there's no baseboard around the floor in the bathroom. That won't be done when you come.

The bathroom looks great! It came together very well. We're really looking forward to our visit.
Okay, let's see the shower curtain and towels now. The room looks great and you guys were so speedy to get it done already!
