I haven't done a "Something Wonderful on Wednesday" post for a long time, but this morning when I woke up it was so wonderful lying in bed listening to the morning sounds that I just had to share.
The meadowlarks actually sing all day, but they are just more noticeable in the quiet of the morning. And of course there are hummingbirds zipping around. I do love my house!

I've been loving waking up with the open window as well. We have so many birds here. I try to pick them out in the mornings--the robins, the chickadees, the mourning doves, the pheasants, the geese, the finches, the woodpeckers... And we don't even have your meadowlarks or humming birds (which incidentally, Lee calls "Honey Birds"). It is truly wonderful. Thanks for your video!
