Karin sent me a message a few weeks ago asking if she could go hiking with me this week while she was here. Of course I wanted to do that! We hoped for good weather, and although it snowed yesterday, and was a bit cloudy today, it was fine for hiking. There was snow on the trail, but it wasn't deep. We didn't do any real climbing, just a nice fairly flat hike up Green Canyon. Nan and Kim came along. We had a great time. Karin, thanks for the suggestion. I just may learn to enjoy winter doing things like this!
And, when we were finished, we went back to my house for hot chocolate and an amazing sunset.
