The carpet is finally installed. We spent the weekend and the first two days this week walking carefully so as not to step on carpet tack strip. We'll be spending the next few days (or longer?) getting stuff moved back where it goes. It's gorgeous, and soft and fun to walk on. Bryce and I took turns vacuuming last night when we got home and I had to change the vacuum bag about midway through because of all the fuzz. Of course the bag was already full of the dirt and guck that I had vacuumed up from around the edges of the room. I'm actually glad that we had the mistake in the carpet shipment so I had time to get that all cleaned up.
