One of the best things about having moved to Logan is that I am able to travel with Bryce on his business trips. This week was a great trip to Southern Utah. He told me several times that if I hadn't been with him, he would have been unhappy - mainly because he didn't feel that the business part of it was as helpful as it could have been. But we had a great time!
We added another temple to our list - we've now been inside of 35, and visited the outside of nine more. Monticello has a little temple that reminded us so much of our temple in Bismarck. We had a wonderful visit with the second counselor about his experiences and how similar they were to ours.
We had breakfast at this trading post and cafe in Bluff. These are called "Navajo Twins" and are so much like other rock formations we saw all day.
We were touched by this cemetery filled with pioneers in the area. How brave they were to come to this barren place and build a community!
There's no way to get all of the goosenecks in one photo. They twisted around and around about a thousand feet below us. It was awesome.
The Moki Dugway was an adventure to drive. We're now at the top looking back down at this gravel road with switchbacks and ten percent grade.
And here we are loaded onto the ferry across Lake Powell from Halls Crossing to Bullfrog.
I know that the pioneers would have loved an easy crossing like this.
We had an impressive dust storm on the way home. I'm glad we weren't on a motorcycle!

What day did you cross on the ferry? We were down there last week and may have crossed by when you were there.
What fun times for you and Bryce.
