Spaghetti with meatballs and parmesan cheese . . .
With a side of broccoli. Looks tasty, right?
Of course there is the orange soda in cups. Notice the way the table was set? Tablecloth upside down, glasses sideways and upside down, silverware splattered around. Of course we have to be a bit silly on April Fools Day.
Below is the "strawberry milkshakes" with "whipped cream" and a "cherry" on top.
And below is the "dessert" of cupcakes with frosting, orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream.
Translation:
Dinner = A piece of brownie with buttercream frosting piped on to look like noodles, topped with strawberry/raspberry sauce, brownie meatballs and chopped almond "parmesan." The broccoli was made with green lime midgees, frosting and green sprinkles.
Strawberry milkshakes = tomato soup with sour cream and a radish.
Punch = Jello set in a glass with a straw.
Dessert = meatloaf cupcakes topped with pink mashed potatoes, pureed squash sherbert and pureed cauliflower ice cream. We added strawberry sauce (ketchup) for those who wanted some.

An April Fools Dinner that will not be forgotten. Such a creative crew!
Oh my goodness! So artistic and real-life that it's really hard for me to imagine that it isn't what it pretends to be!
