Making a Beeline

I don't usually post about my grandchildren, leaving that up to their parents, but this behavior happens on our babysitting watch. Since it's upstairs, Lisa and Cody don't usually see this.

Katie has figured out the "ding dong" door open warning of our security system.  She LOVES standing in the doorway and looking out, especially if someone is coming or going.  Every time she hears the bell, she runs to the front door.  Remember, she is just barely a year old, but has been walking for nearly three months.

This same behavior is also noted whenever the pantry door or refrigerator opens - in fact anytime something is opened that she normally doesn't have access to.
