Ahhh, summer!

I bought some fresh corn for the family barbecue Saturday night, and I found out who the best corn shucking helpers are!  Look at these two go.  They worked hard helping me and soon we had a pile of tasty corn for dinner.

 Watch this little girl do her thing.  Very carefully pulling off the outer husks, one by one.

 And every single piece went into the bucket, none on the ground.

 Off goes the silk,and she worked carefully to make sure it was all gone.

 

She has a right to be proud of that work!

What a nice batch of tasty ears!
